I'm a CS student who learns by shipping. Most of what I build happens in a weekend: ML models for NBA games, a flight-price forecaster, and a hospital-outcomes study that won at ASA DataFest. I work in Java, Python and R, and I speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

  • A Baron-Kenny mediation test moved the odds ratio only −0.74%, so the portal's effect is direct.

FlyWise

A flight assistant that tells you when to book. It forecasts short-term fare trends, adds weather and delay context, and explains the call in plain language.

  • FastAPI backend with an ML price forecast; React + TypeScript frontend.
  • Gemini turns the forecast into a short recommendation for the traveler.
